Poway High Engineering Academy members win accolades at the fair - Pomerado News

Each year students in the Poway High School Engineering Academy enter projects in the San Diego County Fair.

Since 2013 when its doors opened, the group has had a history of winning at the fair. It has won Best of Show for its robots every year but one.

This year, nine students won accolades:

Analia Castanon – BEST of SHOW, architectural hand drawn Illustration

Alex Obert – BEST of SHOW, 3D Computer Technical Illustration

David Dezen – BEST of SHOW, 3D Printed Prototype with plans

Trista Pontsler – BEST of SHOW, 3D Rendering

Team Spyder 1622 – BEST of SHOW, Robotics Engineering Fabricated

Jonathan Hermann, Joshua Lee, Adam Walters – BEST of SHOW, Textbook Stand Innovation Group Project Energy/Power Sources

Donovan Burchett – BEST in CLASS, 3D Rendered Scene

Alison Correnti – BEST in CLASS, Architectural Drawings

Eden Tobar – BEST in CLASS, 3D Rendering
