We are looking for a full-time Project Architect in Colorado, who will fulfill an architectural role focused on accessibility at hospitality projects across the country, to join our growing team. This unique position prefers experience in multi-family and hospitality architecture with comprehensive and thorough knowledge of accessibility codes. A Project Architect should have extensive knowledge of the building process, from conceptual design through construction. The right person for this role will have significant code analysis and construction documentation experience and will be an excellent communicator and creative problem solver. This position will work in collaboration with our dedicated in-house project team, as well as an accessibility consultant, reviewing documented site assessments and then developing drawing sets to complete the required accessibility upgrades and building improvements.

Depending upon experience, there is an opportunity for this position to grow into a Project Manager with potential travel opportunities. There may also be opportunities to work on other, smaller projects within the office, such as commercial tenant improvements, restaurants, multi-family, etc. as time allows. For the current scope of work, it is not required to be located in the office full-time and a hybrid schedule can be discussed.

•             Responsible for the production of Architectural Drawing Sets

•             Responsible for Consultant drawing coordination

•             Building and Interiors Design

•             Code Research & Standards Compliance

·         Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture

·         5-8+ years of experience with recent, comprehensive experience dealing with accessibility codes

·         Software Experience to include AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred

·         Ability to work both independently and in teams

·         Ability to creatively design new code compliance into existing spaces

·         Excellent organizational skills

·         Detailed and technical drafting skills

·         Varied experience with a desire to learn

·         Knowledge of agency processing and code compliance

·         Knowledge of construction techniques and engineering systems

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Team leader and design collaborator

·         Independent time and task management abilities

·         Independent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to reach out to others for assistance with developing solutions
